Silicon is a trace element that is important in the formation of articular cartilage and connective tissue. Silicon is an integral component of Glycosaminoglycans, such as Chondroitin Sulfate and Hyaluronic Acid and is an important element for proper bone formation and calcification. Zeolite contains more than 60% Silicon. Silicon supplementation along with Omega-3 Fatty Acids, amino acids, antioxidants and minerals are beneficial for good bone and cartilage development.
